Holly and her litter brother Caspar (B. Tamnavulin) were born on Xmas Eve 1999. The litter was not expected until after Xmas and the car was all packed with the Xmas turkey, the Xmas presents, and the dog cages, as we were intending to spent Christmas with our daughter Imogen and her husband James and our two grandchildren Robert and Hamish.

Lucky surprised us, and went into labour just after we had finished packing the car. She produced four puppies very quickly just after lunch. A rapid change of plan with Betsy driving to Greenwich to spend Xmas there, while I stayed at home, cooking my own Xmas dinner, and giving support to Lucky and her four puppies.

Holly loves to show whereas Caspar does not like the show ring, though he earned his stud book entry by being placed first in Limit Dog at the Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show in 2001. He now lives with a local family, and recently has been producing some nice puppies. Holly mated to Tythrop Tumbling Dice produced just one puppy earlier this year, named Baillieswells Macallan.
